Multiple reports on Thursday indicate that the relationship between the Minnesota Vikings and Adam Thielen is likely coming to an end.

We’ve known about the possibility of Adam Thielen ending his tenure with the Minnesota Vikings this year ever since the team’s 2022 season came to a close in the playoffs. But on Thursday, multiple reports have turned that possibility into something much more legitimate.

According to ESPN’s Adam Shefter on Thursday, there is “a real possibility” that Thielen and the Vikings will end their time together “in the coming days.” The Star Tribune’s Ben Goessling also confirmed Schefter’s report, saying the veteran receiver and Minnesota “could be parting ways in the next several days.”

In addition to these two reports, Sports Illustrated’s Matt Verderame chimed in on Thursday to share that a breakup between Thielen and the Vikings this year “is a likelihood.”

Where will Adam Thielen play in 2023 if the Minnesota Vikings move on from him?

If Thielen’s time in Minnesota actually does end up coming to an end in the near future, Verderame also reported that the veteran pass-catcher would like to join “a contender with a top-tier QB.”

With this in mind, some possibilities for Thielen in 2023 could be the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets (if they get Aaron Rodgers), and New York Giants.

Wherever he ends up, it’s seeming more and more likely that Thielen won’t be playing his home games inside U.S. Bank Stadium anymore.
