Some major Minnesota Vikings news dropped on Friday when the team made the decision to release wide receiver Adam Thielen from his contract.
After the departure of Eric Kendricks earlier in the week, some additional major Minnesota Vikings news was revealed on Friday when the team announced the release of longtime wide receiver Adam Thielen.

Vikings News: Career in Minnesota over for Adam Thielen after 10 years
Don’t be surprised if Thielen’s story in the NFL is made into a Disney movie one day, as he truly achieved the dream of playing for the team he grew up watching as a young kid in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
But Thielen did more than just suit up for the Vikings during his tenure with the team. During his prime, he ended up emerging as one of the best wide receivers in the entire league.
In 10 years with Minnesota, Thielen will leave the purple and gold ranking third in the franchise’s history in career receptions, fourth in career receiving yards, and third in receiving touchdowns.
