Even though mostly everyone who is a fan of the Minnesota Vikings or reports on the team knew it was coming, the inevitable became official on Friday, as the team officially cut ties with wide receiver Adam Thielen.

Thielen is basically a legend in Minnesota. He was a hometown kid who attended college in Mankato, attended a tryout, got onto the practice squad, worked his way onto the roster as a special teamer, and then eventually developed into one of the best receivers to ever don that beautiful shade of purple.

Like all things in life, an end must come, and for Thielen and the Vikings, the end was March 10th, 2023. Now the question for Thielen is what team does he play for next?
