Kansas City Chiefs

Adam Thielen is a free agent, which means that he does have some say in what team he joins. Obviously, he can only sign with teams that offer him a contract, but if one of those was a team that just won a Super Bowl and looks primed to potentially win one again in 2023, that would be an extremely attractive destination.

Thielen could look to get his ring, and there is really no better team to do that with than the Kansas City Chiefs. They will have some turnover this offseason, but any team with Patrick Mahomes at quarterback is always going to be a contender.

Speaking of that turnover the Chiefs will be having, a lot of it comes at the wide receiver position. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, and Justin Watson are all free agents. The Chiefs need to add some more bodies to their wide receiver cupboard. At least one will come through the draft, but the other could come in the form of a veteran like Adam Thielen.

Thielen and Mahomes would be a nice pairing. Mahomes is a magician in the pocket, eluding pressure and miraculously completing passes in a variety of ways. Thielen can adjust on the fly and get open when a play breaks down, and that could be a deadly combination for defenses in the AFC to try and stop.
