Miami Dolphins

Anytime a big-name player becomes available on the open market, their landing in Miami should always be considered. Number one, it’s a beautiful city with warm weather, and number two, there is no state tax on the salary.

For those reasons alone, Adam Thielen would definitely want to go to Miami, but Miami could also be enticed by Adam Thielen.

The Dolphins have two stud receivers in Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill. Those two are speed demons who will get the majority of attention from defenses. An underrated free agent who they could potentially lose is Trent Sherfield. Despite basically being a no-name guy league-wide, he caught 30 passes for 417 yards. They could look to replace him with Thielen, who would actually be an upgrade.

A Thielen addition upgrades the Dolphins’ No. 3 wide receiver spot, and it could also help the development of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Thielen, even at age 32, still has a knack for getting open and finding soft spots in zones. He can become Tua’s safety net and dump-off option when Waddle and Hill can’t get open. This will help him sustain drives and build confidence, making him a more complete and better quarterback.
