Morgan Fox

2022 Team: LA Chargers

Morgan Fox is a guy who is coming off his best season in the league. In 2022, he racked up six and a half sacks, 38 total tackles, and eight tackles for a loss. He has an explosive first step but also has the power and strength to bullrush through offensive linemen who try to impede his progress.

Pass rush is truly the name of Fox’s game. That is great for the Vikings, as they rarely got pressure from their defensive ends last year.

Tomlinson is more of a force against the run, and the combination of James Lynch and Jonathan Bullard didn’t do much of anything. Fox will likely be utilized in a variety of ways by Brian Flores to maximize his pass-rushing potential.

Fox should be sought after by the Vikings because of his ability on the field, but he also has a connection to head coach Kevin O’Connell. The two were both on the Rams back in 2020, so there is a familiarity there that can be used to lure him to Minnesota.
