Larry Ogunjobi

2022 Team: Pittsburgh Steelers

Larry Ogunjobi would be a huge signing for the Vikings, as he’s been a beast in the league for six seasons. He has spent his entire career playing the AFC North, being part of the Browns, Bengals, and Steelers.

As hinted at above, Ogunjobi has been extremely productive throughout his career. He’s totaled 277 total tackles, 48 tackles for a loss, and 23 sacks. He’s also been a versatile piece playing on both the right and left sides of the defensive line. He can be a force against the run while also providing interior pressure. He’s 28 years old, so he’s still got a few prime years left in the tank.

Ogunjobi is expected to command about $3.4 million a year on the open market. That is a number the Vikings could make work. He played with new Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores in Pittsburgh last season, so that familiarity will be huge. Ogunjobi would be a big upgrade for the Vikings and should be one of their top free-agent targets.
