Raheem Mostert

2022 Team: Miami Dolphins

An effective back when healthy, Mostert provides the Minnesota Vikings with another home run-hitting back on offense should they choose to keep Dalvin Cook. Mostert has averaged 5.4 yards per carry throughout his NFL career, enjoying success in the Shanahan offense in San Francisco and with Mike McDaniel last season in Miami.

Mostert and Cook share similar game-breaking speeds and are a threat to score every time they touch the ball. Mostert has career-long runs of 80, 67, and 52. He also had a front-row seat to Cook’s 53-yard touchdown run to seal a Viking’s win against the Dolphins last season.

Signing Mostert would provide excellent depth for the Vikings’ running back room in 2023. With an estimated market value of $2.2 million, Mostert would be a great value-add as RB2 for the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings would generate a dynamic rushing attack through the signing of Mostert. A team that struggled as a whole to have a steady rushing attack may look to allocate more resources to the run game this offseason.
