Kareem Hunt

2022 Team: Cleveland Browns

Kareem Hunt has spent the last four years of his career in Cleveland in an RB2/RB1B-type of role, complementing Nick Chubb in an effective rushing attack for the Browns. With Hunt set to be a free agent this offseason, he likely will be looking to reclaim RB1 status with a new team.

Hunt to the Vikings makes sense should the team move on from Cook, as Hunt has a versatile skill set that makes him a threat on every down. Hunt caught 53 passes his rookie year in a Kansas City offense with Alex Smith at the helm. Hunt has 17 receiving touchdowns over his career and is one of the top running backs on the free agent market.

At 27-years-old, Hunt still has a lot of good football left in him and a lot to prove. With a current market value of $7 million, the Minnesota Vikings could afford to give him a two-year deal worth roughly $14 million to lock up their starting running back for the next two seasons. Hunt would fit in well with Kevin O’Connell’s scheme by adding another dynamic playmaker to an offense headlined by Justin Jefferson and T.J. Hockenson.
