Former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen will reportedly meet with the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday about a possible deal for the 2023 season.

Following his departure from the Minnesota Vikings after 10 years last week, veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen will look to catch on with another NFL team in 2023. Thielen’s first meeting with a different organization will apparently take place on Wednesday, when he will reportedly visit the Carolina Panthers, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

Will the Carolina Panthers offer former Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen a better opportunity?

Prior to his release by the Vikings, Thielen made multiple media appearances in which he made sure to emphasize that he wants to be with a team that will allow him to prove that he still has plenty left in the tank.

After recently trading D.J. Moore to the Chicago Bears, the Panthers might actually be one of the few teams in the NFL that could offer Thielen a prominent role in their offense.

The top three receivers left on Carolina’s current roster are Terrace Marshall Jr.Laviska Shenault, and Shi Smith. So the Panthers could definitely use a receiver with more NFL experience, and that is definitely something Thielen can offer.

Will the former Minnesota wide receiver take his talents to Carolina, or will the Panthers just end up as the first of multiple teams to show interest in the veteran pass-catcher?
