There were times last season when Jared Goff looked like one of the best passers in the league and the Lions barely missed the playoffs despite their defense giving up the most points in the NFL.
Detroit lost their powerhouse running back Jamaal Williams to the Saints in free agency. Although they are attempting to replace him with former Bears RB David Montgomery, 17 rushing touchdowns leave big shoes to fill.
Goff passed for 4,438 yards last season with 29 touchdowns compared to only seven interceptions, creating a great bond with wide receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown and Kalif Raymond and moving the chains well.
If Goff can bring back a scary rushing attack and make the best of his connection with his receivers, the Detroit Lions offense could be a scary opponent for the Minnesota Vikings to face twice a year.
