Captain Munnerlyn – CB

Captain Munnerlyn, initially played for the Panthers to begin his NFL career, before signing over with the Vikings in 2014. After his contract expired with Minnesota, Munnerlyn then ended up returning to Carolina in 2017.

The corner was a camp causality for the Buffalo Bills in 2019, and he was let go during the preseason, never able to take the field officially a member of the Bills

In retrospect, Munnerlyn is more of a former Panther who also had a stint with the Vikings. But his stint was significant, as he had four interceptions, and the lone fumble recovery touchdown of his career was in purple and gold.

As someone who played in Carolina, and with Adam Thielen in Minnesota, the former NFL corner probably has some solid advice for the receiver’s situation.

However, he may not be the best defensive player to suit up for both the Vikings and Panthers, which leads us to No. 3 on the list.
