Some notable players who used to play for the Minnesota Vikings are still unrestricted free agents heading into the 2023 NFL season.
Many talented players have spent some time in the Minnesota Vikings locker room during the course of their careers. Not all of them have the opportunity to stay with the purple and gold for their entire career.
Some individuals leave for more money. Some desire a change of scenery. Others just weren’t a great fit for what the team was hoping to do in the future and weren’t re-signed or retained by the team.
Despite being productive on the field in the past, some of these players struggle to land a new team to call home. When these individuals spend a lot of time in free agency, sometimes it feels a bit strange.
Guys like Latavius Murry and Bisi Johnson will likely find jobs. These six high-profile former Minnesota Vikings are still unrestricted free agents but may find a team soon to make the most of their talents.
