Teddy Bridgewater, quarterback

Finding a franchise quarterback in the draft is a real crap shoot and Teddy Bridgewater had the support of many Minnesota Vikings fans around the world. Sadly, a freakish injury derailed his career and now he is viewed as a high-quality backup in the NFL.

Bridgewater has bounced around the league since leaving Minnesota. He spent two seasons with the New Orleans Saints before joining the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos. Last year, he was a backup for Tua Tagovailoa with the Miami Dolphins.

Now, he is searching for another team to likely be their backup quarterback. While having a quality backup is important, it might not be a team’s top priority, which means he could be a free agent for a while longer.

If he can stay healthy, he is a quality player to have on a roster. The only season in his eight-year career that he didn’t miss a game, he was named to the Pro Bowl and led the 2015 Vikings to an 11-5 record.
