Odds to win the NFC North in 2023 are out and they currently have the Green Bay Packers finishing behind the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, and Detroit Lions.

Last season was the first since 2018 that the Green Bay Packers didn’t finish their year ahead of the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, and Chicago Bears in the NFC North.

Instead, the Vikings were able to win the division in their first season with Kevin O’Connell as their head coach, and the Packers didn’t even win enough games to qualify for a spot in the playoffs.

With the expectation that Aaron Rodgers is going to be traded to the New York Jets this offseason, oddsmakers aren’t very high on Green Bay recapturing the NFC North in 2023.

A little more than two weeks into the 2023 league year, the current odds to win the NFC North from DraftKings Sportsbook are very interesting.

Odds to win NFC North in 2023*

  1. Detroit Lions (+140)
  2. Minnesota Vikings (+250)
  3. Chicago Bears (+350)
  4. Green Bay Packers (+500)

DraftKings having the Lions favored to win the division next season doesn’t even feel like the biggest story from these odds. Detroit played well last year despite not making the playoffs, and they’ve added some pieces in free agency this offseason that have the potential to make a major impact in 2023.

The fact that the Packers are favored to finish behind every team in the division next season, including the Bears, is easily the most intriguing takeaway from these odds.

DraftKings clearly feels like Green Bay is going to take a major step back with Jordan Love as their quarterback in 2023. These odds also indicate that DraftKings believes both Chicago and Detroit will take significant steps in the right direction next season, and that Minnesota will come back down to earth after a 13-win performance in 2022.
