Sign another receiver

Another hole on the Vikings roster is the one left by Adam Thielen when he took the money and ran south to join the Carolina Panthers. The Vikings now need to find a No. 2 receiver to play across from Justin Jefferson. It’s possible they could just use K.J. Osborn in that role.

They could also use an early draft pick to fill the need. Even if they go with one of those options, the Vikings could use another experienced pass catcher on the depth chart.

Jefferson and Osborn have the most experience, with Jalen Reagor right behind them. They did sign Brandon Powell, but he’s primarily a special teamer, leaving just Jalen Nailor as the only other receiver on the roster who has played any offensive snaps.

There are a few decent options still floating out in free agency land. The biggest name is obviously Odell Beckham Jr., who last played for the Rams in 2021.

The Vikings did attend his workout, sparking rumors that they have serious interest. Other options that fit the Kwesi mold would be N’Keal Harry, Scotty Miller, Richie James, and Olamide Zaccheaus. They could even go out of the box and get a more established veteran like Jarvis Landry, Randall Cobb, or even Julio Jones.

Whatever the Vikings decide to do, bringing in one more experienced pass catcher is very much in the realm of possibility.
