A trade idea involving the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles at the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft was recently suggested by NFL.com’s Chad Reuter.
There has been a bunch of chatter recently about the Minnesota Vikings having interest in taking a quarterback in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft later this month. NFL.com’s Chad Reuter recently suggested a trade between the Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles that could help Minnesota add one of the quarterback prospects they might have their eye on this year.
Trade Proposal
- Vikings get: Pick No. 10 overall in 2023
- Eagles get: Picks No. 23 and No. 87 (third round) in 2023, along with a 2024 first-round pick
Would this NFL Draft trade with the Philadelphia Eagles be good for the Minnesota Vikings?
Reuter cited the fact that there has never been draft in NFL history where more than two quarterbacks were selected during the first nine picks.
If this holds true this year, then Reuter believes Florida’s Anthony Richardson and Kentucky’s Will Levis are the two top signal-callers that could still be on the board by pick No. 10.
If the Vikings were able to land Richardson or Levis as a result of this proposed trade with the Eagles, is it a deal that Minnesota should make?
Or is it a trade that is too costly for the Vikings, who still need to utilize the draft to help improve a number of areas on their roster before the start of the 2023 season?
