First Round (Pick No. 23)

Jordan Addison – WR (USC)

In March, the Vikings made the tough decision to move on from longtime wide receiver Adam Thielen. So heading into the 2023 NFL Draft, finding a new receiver to make up for the departure of Thielen will likely be one of Minnesota’s top priorities.

That’s where Jordan Addison comes in. Unlike the last wide receiver the Vikings drafted in the first round, Addison should be able to make an impact as a rookie.

At 5-foot-11 and 173 pounds, he’s a little on the smaller side. But the dude can make plays. During his last two seasons at both USC and Pittsburgh, he caught a total of 159 passes for 2,468 yards and 25 touchdowns.

In an offense run by Kevin O’Connell, Addison has the necessary abilities to end up as next season’s Offensive Rookie of the Year, an award that has been won by a number of players in a Minnesota uniform, including Justin Jefferson, Percy Harvin, and Randy Moss.
