As the draft swiftly approaches, it seems as though there is growing momentum for the Minnesota Vikings to land standout receiver Jordan Addison.

Addison was once seen as a borderline top-10 pick, but his poor showing at the NFL combine has dropped his draft stock into the Vikings’ radar. The subpar combine numbers shouldn’t be a cause for concern if you are a Vikings fan, as his game tape shows just how electric he can be.

Addison and Johnston are almost polar opposites of each other in terms of play style, with Johnston relying on his amazing physical traits, whereas Addison is a receiver built on technique. Both are able to take the top off of defenses, and that’s exactly what Minnesota needs.

A duo of Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson may not be the most physically imposing receiving group out there, but you would be hard-pressed to find a team that can cover both of these route tree specialists. Addison fills the Adam Thielen-sized hole perfectly in Minnesota, adding more spark to a position that needs a charge.
