Isaiah Foskey is another one of these edge rushers who could go in the first round or slide into the early second. He’s an electrifying pass rusher with long arms that he uses to create space from blockers and then swat them to the side.

He’s proven to be a well-rounded player, as he racked up 121 total tackles in his time with the Fighting Irish. Foskey also can be a force on special teams, as he blocked four kicks in college. So even if he is slow at picking up a defensive scheme, he’ll have an immediate impact on special teams.

The knocks on Foskey are that his technique isn’t very polished. He doesn’t use his hands well and doesn’t possess a wide variety of pass-rush maneuvers. He got by in college using his speed and arms, but he’ll need to be coached up on how to use all of his gifts if he’s going to be a consistent threat coming off the edge in the NFL.

Foskey is likely going to be a second-round pick, but if somehow he slides to No. 87 overall, the Vikings should jump all over him.
