After an investigation that lasted multiple months, a woman was arrested on Thursday for her involvement in a car crash that killed Minnesota Vikings cornerback Khyree Jackson and two other men this past summer in Maryland.

Cori Clingman was the driver of one of the three vehicles involved in the accident last July and she is now facing 13 different charges, including DUI and vehicular manslaughter, according to Prince George's County state attorney Aisha Braveboy on Thursday.

According to the initial police report from the incident, Jackson and his two former high-school football teammates, Isaiah Hazel and Anthony Lytton Jr., were in a vehicle that was forced off the road after it was hit from behind by a car that Clingman was driving at a high speed. The vehicle with the trio of former high school teammates inside then struck multiple tree stumps and all three passed away shortly after the accident.

Multiple members of the Minnesota Vikings dedicated the 2024 season to Kyree Jackson

Prior to Minnesota's first-round playoff matchup against the Los Angeles Rams earlier this month, ESPN ran a feature about the impact that Jackson had on the Vikings during the 2024 season.

In the ESPN feature, several members of the Vikings revealed multiple ways in which they honored Jackson throughout the entire 2024 campaign.

Minnesota running back Aaron Jones shared that he would put flowers in the cornerback's locker every two weeks, Vikings rookie pass rusher Dallas Turner said he would pray and touch the "KJ" logo on the team's practice field before every practice, and Minnesota wide receiver Trent Sherfield Jr. would open up his Bible and place it in Jackson's locker before every Vikings home game.

Jackson was only with Minnesota for a short period of time before he tragically passed, but it's clear that he made significant a significant impact on just about every member of the organization.
