A hatred for the Green Bay Packers is something that is essentially a requirement to become a member of the Minnesota Vikings. For many current and former Vikings, reacting with a general look of disgust at even the slightest mention of the Packers is really just part of the job description.
So, it shouldn't come as a surprise to find out that former Minnesota head coach Mike Tice used his personal account on X to unload on Green Bay following the team's loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday.
"The Packers are FAKE. Zero toughness. Bad Loss. The Packers are lucky the Lions crapped the bed. One and Done at Best. They do not deserve the playoffs but in today’s NFL that is what we get."
Minnesota Vikings will get an up-close look at the "zero toughness" of the Green Bay Packers in Week 18
In their final game of the 2025 regular season, the Vikings will get to see just how much toughness the Packers are lacking when the two NFC North rivals face off inside U.S. Bank Stadium next weekend.
Don't expect the contest to be another classic battle in what has been a historic rivalry between the two franchises. Green Bay is expected to rest several of its top players, and Minnesota doesn't have much to play for other than pride after getting eliminated from playoff contention back in Week 15.
If anything, the Vikings' motivation to win should center around avoiding getting swept by the Packers in the annual season series between the two rivals. Minnesota suffered a 23-6 loss to Green Bay earlier this year, so the Vikings would need a win next weekend to avoid a season sweep by the Packers for just the second time since 2015.
Whatever happens in the Week 18 showdown between the Packers and Vikings, one can assume Tice will be keeping an eye on the matchup and sharing his reaction to the game, whether people like it or not.
