In the history of the Minnesota Vikings, the team's 2022 draft class will go down as one of the worst ever. The Vikings slightly made up for it a year later in the 2023 NFL Draft with the selection of Jordan Addison, but the team still made some regrettable decisions with their picks that year as well.
One of those 2023 draft regrets for Minnesota was the selection of defensive lineman Jaquelin Roy in the fifth round. Roy didn't even last two years with the Vikings before the team decided to move on from him.
Now, Roy is still trying to keep hold of any sort of career in the NFL, as he reportedly landed a tryout with the Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

Despite Minnesota parting with Roy before the start of the 2024 regular season, he has still found a way to continue his career in the league.
Shortly after getting let go by the Vikings in 2024, he landed with the New England Patriots and remained with them for the entire season. Roy didn't do much for the Patriots, though, either, as he only appeared in six games during the 2024 campaign; however, he did end up registering the first two sacks of his NFL career in those six appearances.
Minnesota's former fifth-round pick was hoping to build on the momentum he created with New England in 2024, but instead, he landed on the Patriots' injured reserve list last August, and he spent the 2025 season on the sideline.
After being unable to play at all last year, Roy will be looking to find a new home for the upcoming 2026 season. Will that end up being with the Cardinals, or will he have to wait a little bit longer until his next opportunity comes along?
