How to Watch Vikings in Week 9: All eyes on Minnesota in primetime vs. Colts
By Adam Patrick
For the first time this season, the Minnesota Vikings will be showcased in front of the entire country as part of NBC's "Sunday Night Football" when they take on the Indianapolis Colts this weekend inside U.S. Bank Stadium.
This will actually be the second week in a row that the Vikings will play in primetime, as they're coming off a Thursday-night loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 8. On Sunday, however, Minnesota will be shown to a much larger TV audience, as the majority of the country has access to a local NBC affiliate.
This week, the Vikings will be looking to break a "Sunday Night Football" losing streak. Minnesota has lost its last five "Sunday Night Football" matchups, and they haven't won a home game on a Sunday night since the team's Week 12 victory over the Green Bay Packers in 2018.

Location: U.S. Bank Stadium
Kickoff Time: 7:20 p.m. CST
All-time Series Record: Colts lead 18-8-1 (including the playoffs)
Everyone knows what happened the last time these two teams met inside U.S. Bank Stadium because that was when Minnesota staged the largest comeback in NFL history after falling behind 33-0 and eventually defeated Indianapolis in overtime by a final score of 39-36.
Prior to that victory, the Vikings had actually lost their previous six games against the Colts, dating all the way back to the 2000 season.
Before Minnesota's win in 2022, the last time they walked off the field with a victory over Indianapolis was during the final week of the 1997 season. That loss gave the Colts the worst record in the league that year, so they were awarded the No. 1 pick in the 1998 NFL Draft, and that ended up getting used on Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning.
