There is no denying that Justin Jefferson is a great wide receiver. Ever since he joined the Minnesota Vikings as the No. 22 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the dynamic pass catcher has established himself as one of the most dynamic young players in the league.

At 25 years old, Justin Jefferson is already in his fifth season with the Vikings and has been knocking down numerous franchise records as a receiver. It hasn't been just franchise records that "Jets" has broken, it has been league records as well, with many of them being impressive feats that pass Hall-of-Fame caliber players.

With his fifth catch in Sunday's Week 11 game against the Tennessee Titans, Justin Jefferson passed former Rams receiver and Pro Football Hall of Fame member Torry Holt's record of 6,784 receiving yards in his first five seasons.

Jefferson has the opportunity to expand his lead with seven games remaining in the 2024 NFL regular season. In his career, he averages over 97 receiving yards per game, meaning he could set the bar extremely high for the future.

Entering Sunday's game, Jefferson had 831 receiving yards on the season, and his 81 yards against Tennessee moved him to 912. He is only 88 yards away from earning his fifth consecutive season of 1,000 receiving yards or more.

The 2022 Offensive Player of the Year, Jefferson continues to be a force on offense for Minnesota. He consistently wins one-on-one matchups and makes spectacular catches regularly, even when well-defended.

Arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL, Jefferson was second in receiving yards on the season, trailing only former LSU teammate Ja'Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals. However, there is still a lot of time for the Vikings pass catcher to narrow the gap on Chase.

With Jefferson's record, Holt moves to second place and former Minnesota Vikings legend Randy Moss takes the third spot. Moss accumulated 6,743 yards in his first five seasons while exciting and energizing Vikings fans.

Congratulations go out to Jefferson on this amazing accomplishment. Considering his youth and talent, the young Vikings wide receiver could be a major threat to numerous pass-catching records in the NFL, especially if he can continue to play as well as he has since putting on a purple and gold Minnesota jersey.
