There is a ton of speculation about what is in the future for the Minnesota Vikings. Whether it is questioning the future of Sam Darnold, J.J. McCarthy, Daniel Jones, Kevin O'Connell, Brian Flores, or numerous other parts of the team, there are rumors floating around.
One of the more interesting rumors out there at the moment is from NFL insider Jay Glazer. He stated that there is interest from teams needing a head coach to possibly trade for current Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell.

Vikings fans know how unlikely it would be for Minnesota to deal their head coach. There is a good thing going for the purple and gold and interrupting that to obtain some draft picks would be a massive mistake.
However, Glazer clarified that he didn't say a deal was going to happen, only that teams are interested in the possibility of trading for O'Connell. That makes sense seeing what O'Connell has been able to get out of a Vikings team that wasn't expected to make much noise this season.

Glazer has been an NFL insider for a long time and he does have a big platform among the media and fans. In the past, he has been responsible when sharing rumors and has been fairly accurate in his report.
It actually wouldn't be surprising if the Minnesota Vikings inked Kevin O'Connell to a big extension this offseason. It also wouldn't be shocking if that deal led to teams hungry to find a long-term answer for their head coaching problem to call Kwesi Adofo-Mensah to see what it would take to acquire his services.
