A notable name is part of the Minnesota Vikings inactives list for the second game in a row, as cornerback Stephon Gilmore will not be suiting up for the team's Week 15 game on Monday against the Chicago Bears.
Gilmore has been dealing with an injured hamstring that he suffered in Minnesota's Week 13 win over the Arizona Cardinals. There was some hope that with the extra day to prepare, he would be able to take the field against the Bears, but that's not going to happen.
Instead, the Vikings will let Gilmore get some extra time to recover and get ready for the team's final three games of the 2024 season, which now appear to be more important than ever.

Aside from Gilmore, the rest of Minnesota's inactives players are just healthy scratches, and this is a great sign for the depth of the team's roster as they prepare for a run in this season's playoffs.
As for the Bears, they will be without their No. 2 running back Roschon Johnson. However, Chicago's top running back, D'Andre Swift, is suiting up for the matchup on Monday after being listed on the team's final injury report as questionable with a groin injury.
