After coughing up the football twice in the first half of Sunday's Week 13 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals inside U.S. Bank Stadium, Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones has now fumbled the football in three straight games, and he's already matched his career-high for fumbles in a single season with five.

Luckily, the Vikings were still able to get the win, and a go-ahead five-yard touchdown catch by Jones with less than two minutes left in the game was s big reason why. After the win on Sunday, Minnesota's veteran running back spoke about his recent inability to hold onto the football.

"Don't know . Just gotta go back and look at the film. I can't make any excuses. That's not me. I'm not going to make an excuse. go back and look at the film. But I gotta be better.

I talked with , and he said 'We'll figure out what's going on. We'll correct it.' But it's even more frustrating because like you said, it's not me, and it's happened more than I like recently. But I'll get that fixed."

Minnesota Vikings showed no signs of giving up on Aaron Jones in Week 13 win over Arizona Cardinals

Despite his recent fumbling problem, the Vikings still utilized Jones as a significant part of their offense on Sunday, and that continued confidence in him eventually resulted in him catching the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Following the victory over Arizona, the veteran running back shared some of the uplifting comments that were said to him by teammates and Minnesota head coach Kevin O'Connell.

"Even when I ran off , KO's like, 'Hey, we're coming right back to you.' So, that just means a lot when things aren't going your way. This wasn't my best day, this wasn't my day. But when you've got a group of guys around you who believe in you, they're going to stick with you."

It's not surprising that the Vikings didn't lose faith in Jones, as he's someone who has done more than enough in his NFL career to earn the right to make up for his mistakes.

Unfortunately, his mistakes are becoming a bit too frequent recently. So, it's something the veteran running back needs to fix before it becomes an even bigger problem and completely derails Minnesota's season.
