Anthony Barr is one of the most accomplished Minnesota Vikings of the last two decades. Barr made a ton of impressive plays and earned himself four Pro Bowl selections in his nine seasons with the Vikings.
However, there is one play that took place against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in 2018 that likely still haunts the former Minnesota linebacker to this day.
Thankfully, for all of us, Barr recently shared his version of the play in hilarious fashion on his new podcast, "Bent Outta Shape," with fellow former Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks.
"Yeah, he jumped over me, okay. He hurdled me like I was a child. He flew through the air, Jordan-esque, right, boom.
And I didn't even go low, which is the crazy part. I was going for a form tackle, and I just tackled air, whiffed, fell straight on my face.
I'm like, 'Where did he go?' He's still running, and Stephen Weatherly ended up tackling him. I remember this very vividly."

Despite that play still being shown on Allen highlight reels to this day, Barr added that he doesn't mind that it happened to him.
"I will say, I'm happy that it was Josh Allen that did it. If it was Joe Shmoe, I couldn't live with that. But, okay, it was a future NFL MVP. Hey, if that's going to be played forever, whatever, I can live with that."
That game in 2018 was, of course, the one in which Minnesota was favored by 16.5 points against a winless Bills team.
It was also only the second start of Allen's NFL career, but he put on a show for everyone inside U.S. Bank Stadium that day to help lead Buffalo to an easy 27-6 victory over Barr and the Vikings.
Later on this year, in November, Allen and the Bills will be back inside U.S. Bank Stadium for a Week 9 matchup against Minnesota on "Monday Night Football." It definitely has the potential to be one of the most exciting Vikings games of the 2026 season.
Perhaps Minnesota could even invite a certain former Vikings linebacker who used to wear No. 55 on his jersey to blow the Gjallarhorn for this contest.
