In a matchup between two of the youngest starting quarterbacks in the NFL this season, it was J.J. McCarthy's Minnesota Vikings who were able to walk off the field with a win over Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants on Sunday.

McCarthy was only in action for one half of the matchup after he suffered a hand injury in the second quarter, however his 108 yards in the first 30 minutes of the game were still more than the 33 that Dart threw for in the entire game.

That's right, Minnesota's defense held Dart to just 33 yards passing on Sunday, which is the fewest passing yards the Vikings have allowed to an opposing quarterback with at least 10 attempts since Week 9 of the 1999 season when former Dallas Cowboys signal-caller Jason Garrett threw for just four yards on 11 pass attempts.

In addition to McCarthy having to leave Sunday's game early with an injured hand, Minnesota also lost running back Jordan Mason and center Ryan Kelly to injuries during the victory over New York.

Mason injured his ankle early in the first quarter and didn't return after going down, and Kelly left the matchup a little later on after he suffered a concussion. Vikings running back Aaron Jones and wide receiver Jordan Addison were also looked at by the team's training staff during Sunday's contest due to injury, but neither ailment was bad enough to keep them out of action.

With Kelly, he has now suffered a concussion three times this season, and it's very possible that Sunday's game might have been his last in the NFL after dealing with multiple concussions during his last few years in the league.

Minnesota managed to get the win this weekend, but the 60 minutes they spent on the field in New York resulted in some brand new questions for the franchise to answer as they inch closer to the offseason.
