Vikings Free Agent Tracker: Players re-signing with Minnesota in 2025

It took the Minnesota Vikings until later in the night on Monday, but the team and cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. reached an agreement on a three-year deal worth $66 million.

Late on March 9, Tom Pelissero shared that the Vikings and punter Ryan Wright have agreed to terms on a deal to keep him in Minnesota for the 2025 NFL season. The deal is for one year and is reported to be worth $1.75 million.

On March 9, Adam Schefter announced that running back Aaron Jones would return to the Vikings. His contract is a two-year deal worth $20 million with $13 million guaranteed. This fills a big hole on the roster and brings jones and the Vikings back together after expressing mutual interest.

Theo Jackson was announced to have received a contract extension on March 6, and it was signed the next day. The defensive back's two-year extension is worth $12.615 million. In 2024, he played 340 special teams and 78 defensive snaps where he accumulated 17 combined tackles and one interception in 17 games. His interception against the Seattle Seahawks sealed a win for Minnesota.
