For the first time since signing with the organization in 2023, Minnesota Vikings veteran tight end Josh Oliver will be among the team's inactives for their Week 12 game on Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

Oliver has been dealing with injuries to both his wrist and his ankle, and he didn't participate in any of the Vikings' three practices earlier this week. So, it wasn't much of a surprise on Friday when Minnesota declared him out for this weekend's matchup against the Bears.

With Oliver unable to play this weekend, the Vikings activated third-year tight end Nick Muse from injured reserve on Saturday. Muse has only appeared in two games this season, and he has yet to catch a single pass.
