For the first time this season, veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore will be among the players on the Minnesota Vikings inactives list for the team's Week 14 game on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

Gilmore suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of Minnesota's Week 13 win over the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday. Following the game, the Vikings were hopeful that he would still be able to face the Falcons this weekend, however, he didn't participate in any of Minnesota's practices this week, and that hope quickly disappeared.

To make up for Gilmore's absence on Sunday, the Vikings will likely give cornerback Fabian Moreau more snaps on defense, and undrafted rookie Dwight McGlothern could potentially be active for the first time this season.

While the Gilmore news is disappointing, Minnesota will have rookie kicker Will Reichard back on the field on Sunday for the first time since Week 9. Reichard spent the last four weeks on injured reserve with a quad injury, but the Vikings activated him and Pro Bowl long-snapper Andrew DePaola on Saturday.

Over on the other sideline, Atlanta has already ruled out rookie defensive lineman Ruke Orhorhoro, running back Jase McClellan, and wide receiver Casey Washington, while former Minnesota cornerback Mike Hughes was listed as questionable by the Falcons for Sunday's matchup due to a neck injury.
