It has been a rough season for the Minnesota Vikings. Despite finishing the season with a 9-8 record, the team struggled with injuries, ineffectiveness at quarterback, and many other issues over the course of the 2025 NFL season.
One of the most shocking things to come from this season is that Vikings kicker Will Reichard was not voted to play in the Pro Bowl despite arguably having the best season of any kicker in the league in 2025.
After being snubbed for the Pro Bowl, Minnesota Vikings kicker Will Reichard earns All-Pro First Team honors for the 2025 NFL season.
On Saturday, the Associated Press released its list of players who made the All-Pro teams. Unsurprisingly to Minnesota Vikings fans, Will Reichard was named the kicker for the All-Pro First team.
The official X account of the Vikings shared the news in a great graphic that celebrates the achievement of the Minnesota kicker.

This season couldn't have gone much better for Reichard. He made all 31 of his extra point attempts this season to remain perfect in his career in that metric, making all 69 of those kicks since arriving in Minnesota.
In addition, Reichard only missed two field goal attempts during the entire 2025 NFL season. Minnesota's special teams star connected on every kick inside 50 yards this year, with his only misses coming from beyond that mark. There is also the debate about hitting the camera cable, but that didn't stop him from earning First Team honors.
Reichard is the only Vikings player to make the All-Pro First Team this season. However, his teammate and fellow special teams player Andrew DePaola, was named to the All-Pro Second Team as the long snapper.
At 38 years old, 11-year NFL veteran Andrew DePaola is a free agent this offseason and may choose to retire if he doesn't decide to return for the 2026 NFL season. On the other hand, Will Reichard is 25 years old at the conclusion of his second NFL season.
Congratulations to the two Minnesota Vikings special teams standouts on being named All-Pro players for the 2025 NFL season. It is great to see them get recognized for their outstanding play, and hopefully, they won't be snubbed in future Pro Bowl voting situations.
