After the first three weeks of the 2026 season, the Minnesota Vikings are sitting pretty atop the NFC North with an undefeated 3-0 record. Now, they get to see if they can remain unbeaten when they host the Miami Dolphins inside U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday for a Week 4 showdown.
Miami comes into the matchup still searching for its first win of the 2026 campaign, and it's safe to say that former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores is going to make sure the Vikings do whatever is necessary to prevent that first victory from happening this weekend.

Biggest Vikings Storylines heading into Week 4
Will Justin Jefferson play?
In Week 3, Vikings star receiver Justin Jefferson exited the team's game early in the first quarter after injuring his ankle. Jefferson was hoping to return to the contest, but Minnesota ended up keeping him sidelined for the remainder of the game.
Less than 24 hours after the Vikings' Week 3 victory over the Bucs, we found out that his ankle injury isn't believed to be serious, and he could even play in Week 4 against Miami. Now, Minnesota has to figure out if they need Jefferson on the field to beat a winless Dolphins team.
Is Kyler Murray cooked?
In his first start of the season in Week 1, Kyler Murray lasted a whole 11 snaps before exiting with a concussion. In his second start this past Sunday, Murray was able to play the whole game, but his performance left plenty to be desired.
Was his play in Week 3 going to be the norm this season, or will he be able to take advantage of facing one of the NFL's worst defenses on Sunday and remind people why he was once the No. 1 overall pick in the draft?
Will Brian Flores get revenge?
Before transforming the Vikings' defense into one of the best units in the entire league, Brian Flores was Miami's head coach for three seasons from 2019 to 2021. The Dolphins fired Flores after the 2021 campaign despite the fact that he helped them finish that year with a 9-8 record after starting the season losing eight of their first nine games.
Many felt that Miami made the wrong decision to move on from Flores, and on Sunday, he'll get to prove why they made a mistake by having Minnesota's defense make Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis regret that he even stepped on the turf inside U.S. Bank Stadium.
Can Will Reichard extend his streak?
Hopefully this isn't a jinx, but Vikings kicker Will Reichard has been perfect so far this season on all seven of his field-goal attempts and all six of his extra-point tries. And not only has Reichard been perfect this season, but he's made 26 straight field-goal tries dating back to last year.
With Minnesota's offense struggling during the last two weeks, he has really been the team's source for a good chunk of its points. This probably won't be the case on Sunday, but it will still be interesting to see if he can continue to keep his field goal and extra-point percentage at 100.
