While the Minnesota Vikings shared who earned a spot on their final 53-man roster for the 2026 season on Sunday, the work is far from over.
Now, the Vikings will be looking through all the players from around the NFL who were cut on Sunday and deciding who they want to add to their active roster and who they want to sign to their practice squad.

Trevor Keegan - OG
On Monday, the Vikings claimed offensive guard Trevor Keegan off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys. Keegan was originally selected in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, and then he landed with the Cowboys following last year's round of final cuts.
He's appeared in a total of three games since entering the league in 2024, and none of them were starts. Prior to getting drafted, Keegan spent his college career at Michigan, where he was the school's starting left guard for three years.
Nick Samac - C
Keegan wasn't the only offensive lineman Minnesota claimed on Monday, as the team improved its center depth behind Blake Brandel when they claimed Nick Samac off waivers from the Carolina Panthers.
Samac was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens with a seventh-round pick in 2024, and after a little more than a year in the AFC North, the Panthers signed him off the Ravens' practice squad during the early part of the 2025 season.
The addition of Samac gives the Vikings a true center behind Brandel, who had never played center in his NFL career until midway through the 2025 season.

Max Brosmer - QB (Waived)
In order to make room for the two offensive linemen Minnesota claimed on Monday, they had to create two open spots on their roster. One of those was reportedly created by the Vikings waiving second-year quarterback Max Brosmer, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.
Dillon Bell - WR (Waived)
The other spot was created on Minnesota's active roster by reportedly waiving rookie wide receiver Dillon Bell on Monday, according to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz. Don't be surprised if the Vikings attempt to sign Bell to their practice squad if he ends up going unclaimed on waivers.
