The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a big division win over the Detroit Lions in Week 9, but will need to be ready to take on a high-powered Baltimore Ravens offense at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for Week 10.
Vikings running back Aaron Jones left the game against the Lions with an injury and didn't return. However, he made the most of his time in the game. He had 11 touches and gained 98 scrimmage yards before his exit.
At the moment, his status for the game against Baltimore is up in the air, but the veteran rusher did not participate in Minnesota's practice on Wednesday according to the team's injury report as shared on X.

The Minnesota Vikings will want Aaron Jones on the field on Sunday to give them the best chance to defeat the tough AFC North opponent. On the injury report, he is listed with a shoulder/toe injury to go with his DNP status.

Minnesota is a better team with Jones on the field. He makes things easier on young quarterback J.J. McCarthy by being a solid rusher with great receiving upside. The 30-year-old running back looked great behind a Vikings offensive line that is finally starting to get healthy.
Jordan Mason is a solid backup and a strong runner, but he is best used in a rotational role with Jones to keep the offense fresh and keep defenses guessing. If Jones is unable to go on Sunday, Mason would be expected to get the starting nod.
Mason struggled against Detroit last week, gaining only 36 yards on 10 carries. He could have a much different day against the Ravens, but even he would likely love to have Aaron Jones with him to attack Baltimore's defense.
Safety Theo Jackson, tight end Josh Oliver, cornerback Jeff Okudah, and safety Theo Jackson are the only other players on the Vikings' injury report who did not practice. Hopefully, they can get back on the practice field for Minnesota before the team hosts the Ravens this weekend.
Jones will be an interesting player to keep an eye on as the game against Baltimore gets closer. He should be considered day-to-day, but that all starts with his being able to at least be a limited participant in practices for the Minnesota Vikings before a decision needs to be made on his gameday status.
