The final injury report for the Monday Night Football game between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears has been released and fans of the purple and gold might not be too thrilled with some of the names on the list.

The Vikings will want to have as many of their players available as possible for the prime-time game in Chicago, but two players have already been ruled out, and the status of two others is unknown heading into the game.

There are a couple of notable names on the injury report for the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.

In the final injury report for the Minnesota Vikings, released on Saturday afternoon, the team listed four players dealing with issues that impact their availability for the game against the Bears.

Here is the final injury report for the Vikings:

Minnesota Vikings

OUT
Zavier Scott, running back - ankle
Elijah Williams, defensive line - hamstring

DOUBTFUL
Harrison Smith, safety - illness

QUESTIONABLE
Christian Darrisaw, offensive tackle - knee

The good news for Minnesota on this injury report was that edge rusher Andrew Van Ginkel and wide receiver Jalen Nailor were not included after being part of the reports earlier in the week. That means they are expected to be ready to go for Monday night.

Seeing Christian Darrisaw as questionable was expected in this report. The big offensive tackle's status for this game was in question through most of training camp and the preseason. However, it would be awesome if he could suit up in Week 1 and be fully recovered from his ACL and MCL tear last season.

Meanwhile, Harrison Smith as doubtful with an illness is not great to see. The Vikings already have some questionable depth in their secondary and having their most experienced defensive back unlikely to play could be a big issue against a team with as many offensive weapons as Chicago.

Chicago Bears

DOUBTFUL
T.J. Edwards, linebacker - hamstring

QUESTIONABLE
Josh Blackwell, defensive back - groin
Jaylen Johnson defensive back - groin/calf
Roschon Johnson, running back - foot

The final injury report for the Bears, as released on X, is interesting. No players are listed as ruled out for the game, but there is definitely reason for fans in Chicago to be concerned about some of the names on the list.

T.J. Edwards is a force on defense, and if he can't play on Monday night, the Bears will miss him. In addition, starting cornerback Jaylen Johnson being banged up could be bad news for the Chicago secondary against the Minnesota Vikings.
