Justin Jefferson is having one heck of a season. Now that the regular season has come to an end, the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver is earning recognition for his accomplishments throughout the season.

The Vikings enjoyed a huge season from Justin Jefferson. He ended the year with 1,533 receiving yards and ten receiving touchdowns on 103 catches. His connection with quarterback Sam Darnold is a huge reason Minnesota is a playoff team this year.

Expect multiple honors to roll in for Jefferson. He and five of his teammates already earned his fourth Pro Bowl nod earlier this year, and the recognition will continue to roll in for the 25-year-old pass catcher.

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson named to NFLPA Players' All-Pro Team

Fans voted Justin Jefferson into the Pro Bowl. However, there is something special about receiving recognition from your peers for being among the best in your field. The Vikings' wide receiver got a bit of that recognition recently.

On Wednesday, the official X account of the Minnesota Vikings revealed that Justin Jefferson has been named to the NFLPA Players' All-Pro Team.

Keep in mind that the NFLPA's All-Pro Team is different from the one by the Associated Press. Unlike the AP All-Pro Team, the NFLPA's version is voted on by players and specific requirements must be met to be named to the team.

Jefferson is one of two wide receivers on the NFLPA All-Pro Team. He joins fellow former LSU pass catcher and current Cincinnati Bengals superstar Ja'Marr Chase in the honor. That makes a lot of sense since Chase and Jefferson are the top two in receiving yards this season.

This is the third year the NFLPA announced their version of an All-Pro Team. Last year, Jefferson also made the team and was paired with Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams. Jefferson continues to be mentioned among the elite players in his position, giving credibility to those who call him the best player in the league at his position.

It feels like there are a lot of awards out there, but getting one based on excellent play and recognition from your peers has to be special. Justin Jefferson should be proud of this recognition and look forward to more like it in the future.

The Minnesota Vikings and Justin Jefferson will take the field again on Monday night to take on the Los Angeles Rams in California during the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Hopefully, the story doesn't end so abruptly.
