The Minnesota Vikings made significant changes over the offseason, but will it be enough to turn them into a legitimate contender in 2023?

The Minnesota Vikings will look differently in 2023 as Adam Thielen, Eric Kendricks, and Dalvin Cook were all let go during the offseason. But even with Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s competitive rebuild plan hitting another gear, they still want to compete in the NFC.

The NFC is filled with top-tier contenders in the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers. The Vikings have enough to be at the top of the next wave of playoff teams, but they’ll have to answer a bunch of questions if they want to achieve their goal of being “super competitive.”

The Vikings do have some of the same pillars as Justin Jefferson and Kirk Cousins return for another year, but with Brian Flores in as defensive coordinator and some under-the-radar free agent signings, it should set up for an interesting year in a wide-open NFC North.

So, what should fans expect from the Vikings this season? And who are some players that could step up in the wake of these departures?

In this article, we’ll make 10 bold predictions for the Vikings in 2023 and see how they could affect their season and help them build off winning 13 games one year ago.
