During the last few months, what have we learned about the Minnesota Vikings and their chance to be successful in the upcoming 2023 season?
In 2022, the most significant change for the Minnesota Vikings took place on the sideline and inside their front office following the dismissals of Mike Zimmer as the team's head coach and Rick Spielman as the team's general manager.
As their replacements, the Vikings hired Kevin O'Connell to be the franchise's new head coach and Kwesi Odofo-Mensah as the team's new general manager.
While O'Connell was busy attempting to drink from a fire hose as a first-time NFL head coach, Adofo-Mensah made some minor changes to Minnesota's roster, but the core of the team's locker room from 2021 was mostly kept intact.
This offseason, Adofo-Mensah and O'Connell began to truly mold together a roster that they believe will give the Vikings a better chance to succeed in the near future.
Minnesota isn't starting from scratch this year, but they don't exactly have the pieces to contend for a championship in 2023, either. The Vikings are still going to compete each week during the upcoming season, but the focus appears to be building for 2024 and beyond.
With training camp now the next significant event on Minnesota's calendar, their 2023 offseason is pretty much over. So, looking back, what are some of the things that we've been able to learn about the Vikings during the last few months?
