2023 East-West Shrine Bowl and/or Senior Bowl Participants

- Mekhi Blackmon (CB)
- Ivan Pace Jr. (LB)
- Jaylin Williams (CB)
- Tanner Morgan (QB)

The Vikings didn't have a ton of picks in 2023 and, hence, have the least number of former attendees from this past season's rookie class.

Mekhi Blackmon and Ivan Pace Jr. both played in Mobile at the Senior Bowl.

Blackmon was impressive down there and certainly got the attention of Minnesota's coaching staff. That performance helped make him a third-round pick.

Pace. wasn't drafted, but we all know how his rookie season went. His week in Mobile was fine, as it was his poor NFL Scouting Combine and Pro Day that hurt his stock.

He and Blackmon look like long-term fixtures on this defense and are two of the few building blocks on that side of the ball.

Jaylin Williams and Tanner Morgan both played in last year's East-West Shrine Bowl. Morgan was signed for a brief stint as a practice arm when both Nick Mullens and Kirk Cousins were injured. The former Gopher will never be more than a footnote in Vikings history.

Jaylin Williams was another East-West attendee who the Vikings signed after the draft.

Williams saw action late in the season when Akayleb Evans's performance took a nosedive. He's got a chance to compete for a spot on the roster in 2024.

Just a year ago, Minnesota landed two very key parts of their defense, and both of these guys played in these post-collegiate All-Star games.
