The dates have been released for when rookies and veterans must report to Minnesota Vikings training camp to prepare for the 2023 NFL season.
It won't be too much longer before the NFL is back and teams like the Minnesota Vikings will have their veterans and rookies ready to report to training camp in order to prepare for the 2023 NFL season.
This year, Vikings players will report to TCO Performance Center at Viking Lakes in Eagan, Minnesota where players will fight for their roster spots and playing time during their limited opportunities to impress team coaches and staff.
NFL Network Insider and SiriusXMNFL host Tom Pelissero recently shared a tweet announcing the dates when rookies and veterans will report to team facilities. Here is that Twitter post:
As noted in the chart, Minnesota's rookies will report to Eagan on July 23 with veterans reporting two days later on July 25. Interestingly, the Vikings are the only team in the league with that specific date for their first year players to report.
Week 1 of the preseason kicks off on August 10 making the time between the report dates for the Vikings and their first preseason game against the Seahawks in Seattle, Washington less than three weeks apart.
Minnesota has the latest rookie report date of any team in the NFC North but the Vikings share the same report date for team veterans as two division rivals: the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers.
Details for training camp have already been revealed. Tickets are already on sale for practices at TCO Performance Center and it is highly recommended that if you want to attend a date at Vikings training camp that you buy tickets early.
Another step has been taken toward the NFL being on our televisions once again. It is exciting to think that it won't be too much longer until the Minnesota Vikings are back on the football field every week.
