3. Kirk Cousins' Horrible Decision

Kirk Cousins is a veteran quarterback and one who has proven durable, consistent, and very productive throughout his career. He's having another stellar season for the Vikings, but he didn't have a great game against the Bears last Sunday.

It seems like Cousins usually struggles when he plays in Chicago, and last Sunday was no different. Granted, it was his first game without Justin Jefferson in the starting lineup, but he ended up throwing for just 181 yards in what was a pretty flaccid offensive attack.

That happens sometimes, and while the offense was sluggish, there were some nicely placed balls by No. 8 that the receivers just couldn't hold on to. Overall not a great game, but not a horrible one for the Vikings quarterback.

However, there was one decision that was truly baffling and very disappointing to see our 35-year-old quarterback make.

It was late in the first half when Cousins dropped back to pass and was under almost immediate pressure. He clearly panicked, and instead of taking what would have been about a two-yard loss with a sack, Cousins threw the ball backward toward Cam Akers.

It landed short and bounced on the ground. Akers tried to field it but instead gave a desperation swat trying to knock it out of bounds. It was then pounced on by a Bears defender, but luckily for Cousins and the Vikings, he was ruled out of bounds.

Cousins is way too experienced to make a dumb move like that. That horrible decision could've swung the entire game had Chicago recovered. Seeing our veteran leader make a boneheaded move like that was very disappointing.
