If Minnesota is looking to improve the skill level of their special teams before the upcoming 2023 season, Clayton Fejedelem is someone they should consider signing.
When current Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores was the head coach of the Dolphins in 2020 and 2021, Fejedelem was one of Miami's special teams aces. During their two seasons together, Fejedelem finished with the Dolphins' top special teams grade from PFF in 2020 and their fifth-best special teams grade in 2021.
Fejedelem has also been a great locker-room leader since entering the NFL in 2016 as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals, as he's been named a team captain multiple times during his career, including the 2020 season in Miami with Flores.
Minnesota head coach Kevin O'Connell is all about building a great culture inside his locker room and adding someone like Fejedelem to the team's roster would likely help in accomplishing this goal for the upcoming season.
