Free Agent No. 2

Ndamukong Suh - DT

For most fans, reading Ndamukong Suh’s name may elicit questions like, “Seriously!?” Yes, and yes, Suh can still contribute. As recently as 2021, Suh started all 17 games as a teammate of Fournette’s on the Buccaneers. In fact, in 2020 and 2021, Suh had 12 total sacks for the Bucs.

As a defensive tackle, Suh started nearly every game between 2010 and 2021. The only contests he missed were a two-game suspension in 2011 (his second season) as a member of the Detroit Lions.

Once regarded as one of the NFL’s dirtiest players early in his career, Suh has since become a model citizen. After he was released by Tampa Bay in 2021, Suh was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles in November of 2022. He played in eight games and helped Philly reach Super Bowl LVII against Kansas City.

Suh is 36 years old and has played 13 years in the league. He also has playing experience in three Super Bowls, winning one, as a member of the Rams, Bucs, and Eagles.

The Vikings use a base 3-4 defense, and Suh is a natural defensive tackle. However, at 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds, Suh could work into the Minnesota rotation and become a solid run clogger. His 71.5 career sacks also suggest that Suh can get to the quarterback.
