Matchup No. 1

Ivan Pace Jr./Brian Asamoah vs. Jalen Hurts

You can interchange Brian Asamoah with Ivan Pace Jr., but the fact of the matter still stands: the Vikings linebackers need to do a good job of containing Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and his stellar running ability.

Jordan Hicks is a fine linebacker for Minnesota, but he just doesn't have the speed necessary to try and keep up with Hurts. Asamoah and Pace are both quick and aggressive linebackers, leaving them as the potential spies that will try and slow down Hurts on the run.

Another potential player to watch as the "Hurts follower" is Vikings safety Josh Metellus, a player who could line up as the safety-linebacker hybrid.

Whoever it is, the task of slowing down Hurts on the run is crucial. While he has a solid arm, the dual-threat ability is what really makes him such a dangerous weapon for Philadelphia.

Let's just hope that Hurts doesn't repeat his 2022 performance against Minnesota, in which he had 57 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
