Kirk Cousins vs. Primetime Football

We all know the jokes about Kirk Cousins and his woes under the bright lights. Obviously, wins are not a quarterback stat, but Cousins' outing against the Eagles last season on Monday Night Football was an ugly one, to say the least.

Cousins could really use a big game this Thursday to exorcise those ghosts looming over him. Can he do it? That's the big question.

Cousins now has tight end T.J. Hockenson and wide receiver Jordan Addison as weapons this time around against Philadelphia, giving him more options to throw to against a stellar Eagles defense.

At times, he will need to look away from Justin Jefferson instead of forcing passes his way like last year, or this game will once again end in an ugly fashion.

New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones threw for 316 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception against Philadelphia's defense in Week 1, so there is hope for Cousins to do well against a Philly team that is not unstoppable.

Now it's time for him to prove that under the lights in front of everyone.
