Giving Kevin O'Connell his credit, he called an amazing game against the Niners on Monday night football...except when it got to the red zone. Minnesota's struggles in the red zone have been well documented all season, and this past game was no different.

The Vikings can't keep shutting down when they get into scoring range, as that just won't work as a playoff-hopeful team.

Minnesota's struggling run game could be a reason for this red zone struggle, as that is a big key in the short range. No matter what the issue is, KOC needs to work out the issues, as it is concerning how often Minnesota gets into the red zone and has to settle for a field goal.

Whatever the answer is, Kevin O'Connell needs to find it quickly, or this potential Minnesota Vikings playoff run won't amount to much if you can't capitalize off red-zone chances.
