Matchup 1: Right side of Vikings O-Line vs. Maxx Crosby
Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby is a total game-wrecker, even if he's been banged up for some time now. Crosby had extra time to heal up after the Raiders' bye week, meaning that Brian O'Neill and Ed Ingram need to be on their A-game this week.
Crosby will be coming off the right side of the Vikings line, and it will more than likely take more than just one Minnesota lineman to deal with him.
The Vikings have struggled lately along the line after starting out the season so hot. If the team wants to get back in the win column, it's crucial that the line picks things back up, as you can't win when your line is dropping the ball.
Stopping Crosby may not be possible, but slowing him down is what Minnesota needs. If O'Neill and Ingram can limit Crosby's impact on the game, that is certainly a win in that battle, and that will go a long way for the Vikings securing a win.
